If you want your child to join Pinner Wood Nursery, application forms are now online via Harrow Council admissions website.
For Nursery places commencing September 2024 children should be born between 1st September 2020 and the 31st August 2021.
If you would like your child to join Pinner Wood School please apply via Harrow Council admissions. The local authority manages all admissions and appeals. Further information including the application process is available on line at www.harrow.gov.uk/schooladmissions
If your child attends Pinner Wood Nursery you still have to make an application for them to join the school, they will not get a place automatically. This is because many schools do not have a Nursery and the council is trying to make admissions fair for everyone.
For Reception places commencing September 2024 children should be born between 1st September 2019 and the 31st August 2020. The closing date for both reception and nursery places is 15th January 2024.
In-Year Admissions
Parents can apply for a place for their child at any time outside the normal admissions round. As is the case in the normal admissions round, all children whose EHC plans name the school will be admitted.
Likewise, if there are spaces available in the year group you are applying for, your child will be offered a place.
If there are no spaces available at the time of your application, your child’s name will be added to a waiting list for the relevant year group. When a space becomes available, it will be filled by one of the pupils on the waiting list in accordance with the oversubscription criteria . Priority will not be given to children on the basis that they have been on the waiting list the longest.

Parents will be notified of the outcome of your in-year application in writing.

Secondary School Application
Secondary School Admissions 2023-24 Children born between 1st September 2012 and 31st August 2013 will start secondary school in September 2024. The application for secondary school admissions for September 2024 is available on the eAdmissions website. Alternatively view Harrow Secondary Admissions website. The closing date for secondary school applications is 31st October 2023.
