The Acorns Centre- our ARMS provision at Pinner Wood
The Acorns Centre is a provision for children with moderate learning difficulties at Pinner Wood School, which makes Pinner Wood an additional resourced mainstream school (ARMS). The primary aim of the provision is to support our learners with their inclusion. Staff in The Acorns Centre will adapt the work from the pupil’s year group so that they are able to access the national curriculum. This may look different for each child, and each child within The Acorns is set individual targets to help achieve progress with their academic, social communication and interaction, language, physical skills while develop increasing independence.
