Teaching Assistant EYFS 

A rare opportunity has arisen to work in our fantastic EYFS (Reception Team) or our.  We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to become part of our high performing and dynamic team.  This roles would suit someone passionate about working with young children or or a graduate looking for a route into teaching.

You will have:-

  • An NVQ3 or equivalent qualification/degree level
  • An interest or experience in the Foundation Stage
  • An enthusiastic, positive approach
  • A commitment to team work
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • A basic level of IT skills

Starting date: September 2020

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 30 hours 8.30 – 3.30 hrs (Monday to Friday)

Salary:  £14,184.00

Closing Date: Thursday 9th July or when a suitable candidate is found.

Teaching Assistant KS2 years 5/6

A rare opportunity has arisen to work in our Upper Key Stage 2.  We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to become part of our high performing and dynamic team.  This role would suit someone passionate about working with young children or a graduate looking for a route into teaching or experience to support further job opportunities.

You will have:-

  • Level 3 or graduate
  • Possible interest in teaching or just looking for a job/experience after graduating.
  • An enthusiastic, positive approach
  • A commitment to team work
  • A good level of spoken and written English
  • A basic level of IT skills
  • Starting date: September 2020

Contract: 1 year contract initially with possibility to be renewed.

Start September 2020 –

Hours: 30 hours 8.30 – 3.30 hrs (Monday to Friday)

Salary:  £14,184.00

Closing Date: noon Thursday 9th July or when a suitable candidate is found.

Interviews: W.B Monday 13th July

CLERK TO THE GOVERNORS 

Salary Grade G4 – £11.62 – £12.26 per hour

Pinner Wood School is seeking to appoint a motivated, highly organised Clerk to our Governing Body, who has great ICT skills with experience in administration and governance to help ensure that the Local Governing Body functions effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing administrative support to the Pinner Wood School Governing Body
  • Preparation, typing and distribution of agendas and associated paperwork
  • Accurate taking of minutes at the Full and Committee Governor meetings as well as any working parties
  • Maintaining accurate records of the Governing Body and its membership
  • Advising the Governing Body Governing Body on constitutional matters, duties and powers
  • Policy preparation, maintenance, and distribution to staff and Governors
  • Management of our online portal, The Governor Hub

Pinner Wood School is an outstanding child focused 3 form entry primary school. We have a Nursery and a breakfast and after school club on site. An increasingly popular and diverse school, we have a strong reputation locally and are oversubscribed.

There are expected to be 15 Governing Body and committee meetings per academic year, each lasting up a maximum of 2 hours and each estimated to require approximately 8 hours for preparation and follow up. There will be additional ad hoc meetings. It is anticipated that the role would require approximately 120 hours a year including some training/CPD.

Knowledge of how schools and governing bodies operate would be an advantage along with previous experience of similar work but we are also open to developing and training the right candidate; we invite applications from recently retired school leaders.
